U5 INTRODUCTION
The U5 model is designed for processing both standard steel coils and cut-to-length (slit) steel coils. After the material is unwound and leveled, it enters the cutting unit, where a specialized machine structure precisely feeds and cuts the desired shapes—enabling clean-edge cutting. Once cutting is complete, the finished pieces are conveyed via a belt-driven platform for sorting and further handling. During laser cutting operations, the system employs an overhead, suspended cutting mechanism, which prevents scratches on the material’s lower surface during both cutting and feeding processes. Additionally, integrated fixed dust extraction vents ensure efficient removal of particulates generated during cutting, maintaining a clean working environment. Finally, after the shapes are fully cut, they are automatically discharged onto a conveyor belt for intelligent stacking, while excess trim and waste materials are collected directly into a dedicated waste cart after being sheared by a built-in collection device.
